Refund policy
REFUND / EXCHANGE POLICY
Septic Stop will not accept any returns without prior approval. If you have a product to be returned, you must email us first at septicstop@gmail.com. Products may be returned within 30 days of invoiced date for a refund (excluding shipping/handling charges) if returned within that 30 days in the original unopened box. There will be no refunds on products that have been used. All returned merchandise must be returned in the condition it arrived including all original packaging and paperwork in order to receive a refund, credit, or replacement item.
Should you choose a refund, we will either credit the cost of the merchandise according to your method of payment or mail you a refund check. Return shipping charges must be prepaid and are not refundable. Any items returned or any orders cancelled will be subject to a 15% restocking fee plus Septic Stop's original expenses for shipping and handling charges. Risers, lids, and accessories are subject to a 25% restocking fee plus Septic Stop's original expenses for shipping and handling charges. This restocking fee covers costs incurred by Septic Stop during the processing, handling, and return of your order. The restocking fee is waived on any items exchanged or returned due to mistakes made by Septic Stop during the sale, processing, and handling of the order.
Special ordered items, Items marked "Built To Order", and Custom Products are not returnable. Septic Stop may offer products manufactured or assembled to customers specifications (“Custom Product(s)”). Septic Stop is not responsible for verifying or confirming the accuracy of specifications provided by customer to Septic Stop for Custom Products. All Custom Products are sold on a “FINAL SALE” basis only, and no cancellations, returns, refunds or credits are allowed.
If, for any reason, this return policy is not strictly adhered to, Septic Stop will not be responsible for issuing any credits or refunds and will not do so on any products returned for any reason. Returns and exchanges are accepted only for items purchased from Septic Stop and only with prior authorization in accordance with the conditions set forth herein.
For Canada or other international returns, the shipping costs as well as the import duties and fees required to get the product shipped back to us will not be refunded. These orders will also be subject to the conditions and fees as stated above.
For any items that are missing or damaged, this must be reported to us within 10 days of receiving the order.
Warranty products will only be received within the time allotted for the warranty of the product. It is the responsibility of the customer to know the date at which the warranty ends. The start date of the warranty will be when the product was sold. The process of returns will be handled on a case by case basis. Customers that would like to claim a warranty will need to contact Septic Stop during regular business hours.
Lost Packages During Transit
Any products that get lost during the transit via UPS/USPS will NOT be the responsibility of Septic Stop. Once product leaves from our warehouse, Septic Stop will not send out replacement products if UPS/USPS loses the package during transit.
Septic Stop will file a UPS claim on behalf of the customer, but these claims can take up to 8 business days to be resolved. Once the claim is closed out and UPS reimburses Septic Stop, we then will ship out a replacement product. If the customer cannot wait the 8 business days for claim to be resolved, they can re-purchase the product to be re-shipped, and at time of resolution of the UPS claim, we will refund customer for the original lost shipment.
